About Infini Entertainment Company:

Infini Entertainment will celebrate its 18 year anniversary during the 2009
Infini Film Festival.  Infini Entertainment, formerly Infini Productions, was
founded by Ametra Self in May 1991.  The small company began with the
production of short films and stage plays.  Infini Entertainment Company
also produced many cable shows over the course of the years.  

The Infini Film Festival is their first and expected to bring in thousands of
supporters nationwide.  The film festival has been tentatively scheduled for
summer 2009.  The 1st Annual Infini Film Festival will take place at a Cinema
Theaters located in Chicago.

Eligibility:
The Infini Film Festival is currently accepting submissions of feature and
short films and videos, narratives and documentaries, nationwide.  We’ve
also added a new category,
Novels to Films, where we’ll accept books and
manuscripts, fiction or non-fiction, feature and short stories.  Once selected,
the title will be produced by
Moopy Vision Movies in association with Infini
Entertainment Company
and Private Partners.  We will accept submissions
in the Novels to Films category beginning September 23 until December 15,
2008, short stories late deadline is January 15.  We will accept completed
films and videos from Film Makers until April 15, 2009.

Competition:
Infini Film Festival 2009 competition categories are: Best Fiction Feature,
Best Non-Fiction Feature, Best Short Stories and Best Documentary
.  An
award will be distributed to the Author/Writer from the "Audience Choice".  
We will accept books and manuscripts that are copyright protected.  We're
accepting all, no matter the date of publication or copyright.   Submissions
are judged and winners are selected by a panel of judges from the industry.

Novels to Films to Produce:
Infini Entertainment Company in association with Moopy Vision Movies and
its Private Partners will produce
one fictional feature film, one non-fiction
feature film
, one documentary (feature or short) and fifteen short films
based on the submissions we receive by the authors, writers or owner of the
books or manuscripts.  The location for the production of these films will be
in Chicago and the Suburbs of Chicago.

Feature Story & Short Story Description:
Feature Stories are books or manuscripts 150 pages or more.
Short Stories are books or manuscripts less than 150 pages.

Rules & Guidelines:
All submissions must be copyright protected before entering.
The individual submitting must own rights to the materials submitted.
If a group own rights, you must obtain clearance from the other authors or
writers, granting you permission to enter the competition.  We must receive
this in writing, along with your submission.  Infini Entertainment Company,
Moopy Vision Movies and/or Ametra Self holds no responsibility for
submission with no clearance from others with rights to that particular
project.  If you do not inform us, we will not know who own rights.  If you
inform us, we will expect a notarized clearance or permission letter before we
will consider your submission.  You may enter as many books or
manuscripts, however, a separate entry form and fee is due.  If you have a
collection of short stories in one book, we will consider all stories.  You will
not be required to submit additional entry forms or fees in this case.  You will
maintain your rights as the writer the movie was adapted from.  All fees and
entry forms are due prior to the judges reviewing your novels.

Upon submitting, your book cover may be used in the competition trailer and
other promotions.  This is only for those who had their books published.  
We'll also give each contestant movie credit by adding their book titles and
contact information at the end of the credits for the feature films only.  If you
need confirmation that Novels to Films has received your entry,  request via
email or include a self-address stamped postcard.  Submission materials will
not be returned.  Infini Entertainment Company will not be responsible for
items lost or damaged in the mail.

website. Be sure to select the category that best describes your project.  
Once you receive a confirmation, using the same email, forward back to us,
along with the manuscript and synopsis and book photo.  If you are
submitting a book, be sure to print a copy of the confirmation, synopsis and
mail to the address below.  Once you submit, you may email a photo of the
book.  The email address is listed below.  

Note:  
All book and manuscripts must be copyright protected before submitting.  
For a quick copyright protection, you may register your manuscript online at
www.wga.org.  It cost $20.00 for non-members and you’ll receive an instant
confirmation and a copyright certificate in a few weeks.  The submission
deadline for feature stories is December 15, 2008 (no exceptions) and for
short stories January 15, 2009.

NOTE:  Final Late Deadline does not apply to feature stories for feature film
production.

Note that there are separate deadlines and fees for a Filmmaker submitting to
the competition,  This guideline is
strictly for the Novels to Films competition.

Selection results will be available January 21, 2009.

If your book or manuscript is selected, we will begin Pre-Production in
January 2009, Production in April 2009 and Post-Production will begin daily
throughout the month of May.  While we are preparing the winning titles for
cinema screening, our panel of judges will move on to select the feature films
and short films submitted by a Filmmaker.  A complete schedule of the film
festival will be released at the end of May.  For anyone who anticipate
attending will be able to review information beginning in March 2009.
