Parker Publisher announced the publishing of Katherine's latest work, Perilous Passions, to be released on 17 February 2008.  As you well know, Katherine was very very committed in providing readers quality work...  Katherine poured much of herself into this work and I believe each of you will be pleased by the outcome....    I'm compelled to raise a concern she wrote just ten days before her passing in an Amazon comment/blog...  ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1600430074 )  Why Not 100,000 (sales)?   Selling 100,000 books should not be the exception for multi-cultural books... Multi-cultural books does NOT mean substandard books... ALL quality authors sacrifice months of their lives to turn blank pages into works that bring you emotions, strength, insight, and even growth... I ask you, the reader, to please remember that if you have a special book or author whose work has a positive impact on your life... honor them through word-of-mouth advertising and your purchasing power... buy an extra book for someone special or encourage them to do the same... make 100,000 the standard...not the exception. My sincere thanks for the humbling words and events honoring Katherine's commitment to positively impact the lives of so many others.
